I hereby put up the Lincoln Towncar as the classiest car from the 80s.
If you've never enjoyed a ride in one I feel sorry for you.

The one you were in probably needed new shocks.
My dad owned an 88 Town Car for a while (until some jackass ran a red light and totaled it). It was glorious, felt like a limo and the moonroof was MASSIVE.
OH THE GLORY OF THE 80'S TOWN CAR

Back when they were both new, I bet that dress thing was more expensive than the car

I doubt it, Town Cars weren't cheap.

As a rental, you're probably correct. I was thinking monthly payments and upkeep would be through the roof.
